Timon Drewes is a research assistant and PhD student of Malte Reichelt, Assistant Professor of Computational Social Science and Social Dynamics, and is affiliated with the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi).

Timon studied Sociology and Political Science at the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg from 2017-2020, where he was also a student assistant at the Chair of Political Science with a focus on sustainable development. From 2019-2020 he spent a semester abroad at the State University of St. Petersburg and studied “Sociology and Social Research” at the University of Trento from 2020 to 2023.

Since 2023, he has been part of the Emmy Noether junior research group in Malte Reichelt’s GenDIT research project, researching digitalisation and gender inequality.
